On behalf of the Press Club of Dallas Board of Directors and our members, we are all saddened by the deaths of Alison Parker and Adam Ward, both journalists tragically shot while reporting on live television. While we have the right to report the news without fear of reprisal, it’s a terrible loss to the journalism community when two of its own are lost so senselessly as this. PCD extends its deepest sympathy to both journalists’ families, friends, and colleagues at WBDJ-TV (CBS) in Roanoke, Virginia.
