The First 100 Days: Political Journalism in the Trump Era

May 2 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Press Club of Dallas invites you to an evening of politics and journalism on the campus of Paul Quinn College in Dallas. Join us inside the Zale Library on May 2 as we bring together some of North Texas’ most trusted political journalists to discuss the first 100 days of the Trump presidency. From alternative facts and fake news to the search for truth, accountability, and transparency — you’ll hear first-hand accounts of what it’s like covering this unprecedented president and politics generally at such a tumultuous time.

Our panel will be moderated by Paul Quinn College President Michael J. Sorrell and will include:

· Gromer Jeffers: Political Writer for The Dallas Morning News and co-host of Lone Star Politics, NBC 5
· Jason Whitely: Senior Reporter and co-host of Inside Texas Politics, WFAA-TV Channel 8
· Julie Fine: Political Reporter, NBC 5

Doors open at 6 p.m. The discussion begins at 6:30.
