Liz Farmer
Liz Farmer
Liz Farmer is a writer, editor, and PR specialist at Pinnacle Group, where she serves as brand journalist for CEO and Chairman Nina Vaca. An experienced reporter since 2011, Liz covered everything from breaking news, legislation, local stories, and transportation for the Austin American-Statesman, The Texas Observer, and most recently The Dallas Morning News.

Through her professional experience, she has curated multimedia journalism across social media, blogs, digital forums, and print sources. A graduate of the University of Texas-Austin, Liz is passionate about media innovation and the promotion of journalism.

Zane Harrington
Zane Harrington
A communications specialist at VisitDallas, Zane Harrington promotes Dallas as an ideal leisure destination. He works to create, develop, and maintain public relations strategies and relationships with local clients, reporters, and partners. Zane serves as a main point-person for domestic media requests.

A graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Brand Engagement and Music and Entertainment Marketing, he began his career as a CBS News press office intern in New York City, working with top publicists and CBS News executives, and returned to Dallas to become an account executive at A. Larry Ross Communications before joining VisitDallas.

Arnold Wayne Jones
Arnold Wayne Jones
After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law, Arnold Wayne Jones moved to Dallas, where he pursued for a time dual careers in law and journalism before concentrating full-time as a writer. His stories have appeared in publications from Entertainment Weekly to TV Guide to Backstage Magazine, The Toronto Star, The Fort Worth Star Telegram, The San Antonio Current, The Met and The Texas Lawyer and he has held long-term positions at Dallas Observer, Dallas Voice and KDFW-Fox4.

Starting as a film critic (he also published, through Avon Books, the well-received The Envelope Please, about the history of the Academy Awards), Jones’ journalism career has extended to becoming Executive Editor at Dallas Voice, where he has been employed since 2002, and writing features, restaurant criticism, film and theater criticism, travel stories, celebrity interviews, breaking news and even producing acclaimed photography.

His citations and honors include multiple awards from the Press Club of Dallas, the Houston Press Club, the North American Travel Journalists Association and other groups for his criticism, op/eds, feature writing and photography. Jones has been tapped as frequent moderator and guest for celebrity Q&As at film festivals and live performances and has been a routine commentator for TV news and radio programs. He has also taught writing and media, as well as First Amendment law, as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University.

Song Yang
Song Yang
Song Yang received her BA in journalism/news editorial from California State University, where she wrote for the University’s paper. Combining her love of journalism and digital media, Song came to Dallas by way of New York from California. Director of digital media at Cowboys & Indians Magazine for the last three years, Song currently oversees digital marketing, media & ad sales, email marketing, content development, analytics, and technical implementation at the Dallas-based magazine.

Song has worked in the online travel business for over 10 years in account management, e-commerce strategy and digital planning. She has worked for Travelocity, CheapCaribbean, Greyhound and then crossed over to the digital agency world holding positions and Ivie & Associates and Broussard Global Communications before returning to her roots in editorial.

he is a member of the DFW Interactive Marketing Association as well as Press Club of Dallas. Her passions include mentoring and developing others in digital media studies and community leadership. Song is also a huge dog lover and enjoys Sunday mornings at Klyde Warren Park with her pittie, Rocky Balboa.
