The board approved changing the amendment language from “There shall be a minimum of two nominees for each position” to “There shall be at least two nominees for each vacancy, excepting that of President and President-elect.”

The following were discussed: when opportune and appropriate, inviting well-known journalists to speak at club events; coordinating upcoming events; offering complimentary admission to volunteers at select events; and videotaping endorsements of the club by visiting guests and speakers.

The next regular board meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m., December 15, 2012, at Southern Methodist University. There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 11:03 a.m.
